Let's Talk Dialogue
The spoken word is perhaps our greatest communication tool. But there is always a gap between what we say and what we want to say. Join Artemis Writers in exploring the creative possibilities that open up when we put characters in conversation with each other. We'll work on how to create speech that is both realistic and plot-driven, and play with the distance between expression and intention.
Tuesday 31st March, 6:30-8:30
The Cutter Inn, Ely

About our workshops
We run workshops every six weeks in Ely, and have also run workshops at Hot Numbers and Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.

If you would like Artemis Writers to run a workshop at your place of business or event, get in touch with us at artemiswritersuk@gmail.com.

Workshops are for everyone, whether you're a seasoned author or just starting out. They last one and a half to two hours, and typically involve three or four exercises with a fifteen-minute break. Sharing with others is not compulsory, though you may find that getting feedback from people on your table sparks new ideas or helps you solve a tricky problem. Our workshops are suitable for ages 12 and over, though we focus on writing aimed at adults.
